I wrote this song back in the mid 90’s whilst waiting for a phone call outside a phone box in the rain. The girl in question was supposed to be choosing between me and another bloke and ringing me with her decision.
It’s funny the way things turned out - her decision in the end was not me. However, I ended up marrying her best friend 20 years later and we are all still good friends.
